Santo Domingo.– President Luis Abinader issued Decree no. 352-26, through which he appointed three new members to the Board of Directors of the State Sugar Council (CEA), representing different sectors, as part of the institutional process that the entity is undergoing.
In accordance with the presidential provision, José García Ramírez was appointed as a member of the CEA Board of Directors representing the private sector.
Likewise, Rosa Pastora Méndez Méndez was appointed as a member of said body, also representing the private sector.
The decree also establishes the appointment of Aníbal Amparo as a member of the CEA Board of Directors representing the manufacturing sector, strengthening the participation of sectors linked to the institution’s functions and responsibilities.

The presidential provision indicates that the designated individuals will remain in their respective positions until the dissolution process of the CEA is concluded or until their replacement is ordered through a new decision by the Executive Branch.

With these designations, the Government continues to advance in the administrative and institutional actions related to the transformation and reorganization of state agencies, in line with the modernization policies promoted by the current government administration.
