Santo Domingo.– President Luis Abinader expressed his solidarity with the Venezuelan people following the devastating earthquake that affected that nation and announced the deployment of specialized Dominican teams to assist in emergency efforts.
n” “nThrough a message posted on his X social media account, the president reported that he held a conversation with the acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, to whom he conveyed, on behalf of the Government and the Dominican people, his condolences and support in the face of the tragedy.
n” “nnn” “n“I have just spoken with the acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, to express to her, on behalf of the Dominican people and Government, our deepest solidarity in the face of the tragedy caused by the devastating earthquake,” wrote Abinader.

n” “nThe head of state also indicated that in the early hours of this Thursday, specialized search, rescue, and emergency response teams belonging to the Dominican Armed Forces will depart for Venezuela, with the purpose of supporting the operations being carried out by the Venezuelan authorities.
