Carolina visits cemeteries and sends a special message for Father’s Day

“Wishing all the parents of the Dominican Republic that God bless them” Santo Domingo.- Regarding Father’s Day celebration, the mayor of the National District, Carolina Mejía, toured the National Cemetery on Máximo Gómez Avenue and Cristo Redentor, to verify the dignified conditions in which these cemeteries are found.

explicó Mejía.

“The reality is that we are very satisfied with the care, attention, and work that has been done here,” he specified, indicating that sidewalks have been recovered and significant pruning and tree planting work has been done to preserve the cemetery. During the tour, the municipal executive noted the good conditions in which the council maintains these cemeteries. In addition, she congratulated all the parents who came to greet her. In line with that, several of the attendees at these cemeteries thanked Carolina for the good conditions in which she maintains these places. During the last few weeks, the Mayor’s Office of the National District reinforced the conditioning of the main cemeteries to have them in optimal conditions to receive the large number of mourners who attend for the purpose of the holiday this Sunday.
Mejía calls on parents to cherish
Carolina took advantage of the press intervention to send a message of congratulations to parents on their day, asking that they be cherished by those who have the great blessing of having them alive.

“Desearles a todos los padres de la República Dominicana que papá Dios los bendiga y que pasen un día maravilloso, este y siempre”, sostuvo.
