Dominican Republic announces its participation in FITUR 2026

Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic announced this Monday the country’s participation in the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2026, one of the most important events in the tourism sector worldwide that will take place from January 21 to 25 2026, with Mexico as a partner country.

Through its social media, the institution informed that the Dominican delegation will be headed by the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, who will be in charge of coordinating the national representation at the 46th edition of the fair.

Dominican participation in FITUR 2026 will once again have the sponsorship of Banreservas, Banco Popular Dominicano and Banco BHD. In addition, 60 co-exhibitors from the tourism sector will develop a schedule of private meetings, with the aim of strengthening strategic alliances, attracting investments and continuing to position the country as a leading destination in the Caribbean.

Fitur is the benchmark event in the tourism sector and the leading fair for inbound and outbound markets worldwide. It will be held at IFEMA MADRID as a key global meeting point for tourism industry professionals and the largest business platform in the sector.
