Santo Domingo.– The Minister of Public Works, Eduardo Estrella, assured this Wednesday that the perimeter fence of the National Botanical Garden will not be affected by the execution of the road and environmental solution project on República de Colombia Avenue and its surroundings.
The minister also reported that the intervention is estimated to take an estimated period of two years.
The work will include improvements in road infrastructure, overpasses, storm drainage, and adaptation of public spaces. Within the measures, 25 crossings on the Republic of Colombia avenue will be eliminated and six operational returns will be put in place.
Estrella issued these statements at the event organized by the Presidency of the Republic and the Ministries of Environment and Public Works.
