Santo Domingo.– In commemoration of World Hepatitis Day, the VBC-RD Trust and the Ministry of Public Health held a vaccination day at the Diagnostic and Primary Care Center of Ciudad Juan Bosch.
“On this day, July 28th, we gather to redouble efforts in the prevention, awareness, and treatment of hepatitis. I thank the Ministry of Public Health, especially the team of Health Area 1, for their constant commitment to Ciudad Juan Bosch. I also recognize the work of the staff who lead the health centers in this community, for their daily dedication,” expressed the Vice Minister of Investment Projects of the Ministry of the Presidency, Camel Curi Lora
During the day, medical orientations were offered and vaccines were administered as part of the start of an intensive immunization campaign that will continue on weekends in August and will include house-to-house visits on August 2, 3, 9 and 10, and will include immunization against the human papillomavirus, diphtheria and tetanus.
