Santo Domingo.– The communicator Ingrid Altagracia Jorge Pérez, popularly known as “La Torita” and daughter of the media figure Claudia Pérez, offered a public apology to the Minister of Interior and Police, Faride Raful, after acknowledging that she made statements that affected her honor.

In that sense, he admitted that the exercise of public communication entails a high level of commitment, especially in an era dominated by immediacy and the massive dissemination of content through digital platforms. “This communication exercise is too delicate and cannot be sustained on rumors or falsehoods,” he expressed in his message, while reiterating his willingness to assume the consequences of his actions. Similarly, he stated that the situation he experienced allowed him to re-evaluate his behavior and understand the impact that words can have when they are not supported by verifiable facts. The communicator also hinted that this episode represents a turning point in her career, betting on a more responsible handling of information from now on. Finally, he thanked the legal actions taken against him, pointing out that they served as a wake-up call and a learning opportunity.
