Of the total detainees, 579 correspond to interdictions carried out directly by DGM agents, as part of the immigration verification actions carried out in various parts of the national territory. To these figures are added 510 people handed over by other institutions, including 370 by the Dominican Republic Army (ERD), 86 by the National Police (PN) and 54 by the Specialized Corps for Land Border Security of the Ministry of Defense (CESFRONT).

Regarding the actions carried out by the institution’s interdiction teams, the highest number of arrests were concentrated in the Gran Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal and Monte Plata with 160 cases, followed by Pedernales with 53, Puerto Plata with 45, Monte Cristi with 41 and the block of La Vega, Duarte, Nagua, Sánchez Ramírez and Bonao with 42. Operations were also recorded in Santiago de los Caballeros, Mao and Santiago Rodríguez, as well as in Dajabón, Independencia (Jimaní), Azua, Peravia, San José de Ocoa, Barahona and Espaillat, among other demarcations where immigration control operations were carried out. These actions included interventions in urban sectors, commercial zones, tourist poles, and strategic transit points, covering areas such as Cristo Rey, Villa Mella, Herrera, and the toll booth at kilometer 32 in Greater Santo Domingo, the head municipality of Santiago, as well as locations in La Vega, Puerto Plata, Mao, Santiago Rodríguez, Barahona, and other demarcations where immigration verification operations are maintained. Deportations were carried out through the enabled border checkpoints, with 459 transfers recorded through Elías Piña, 274 through Dajabón, 89 through Jimaní, and 86 through Pedernales, in compliance with the established procedures for the screening, biometric registration, and transfer to their country of origin of people who could not demonstrate regular immigration status in Dominican territory.
