Another key focus has been the re-education of traffic offenders. Through specialized training, 4,475 citizens who committed violations of Law 63-17 have been sensitized, with the aim of promoting positive changes in their driving behavior. Overall, the training actions developed by ENEVIAL in this period exceed 34,900, solidifying its role as an educational pillar within the national transit system. ENEVIAL has also brought road safety education to the social inclusion days “Primero Tú”, developed by the General Directorate of Strategic and Special Projects of the Presidency (PROPEEP), impacting 1,783 students and teachers in different provinces of the country. Similarly, in coordination with the INTRANT Motorcycle Department, an induction program has been implemented for motorcyclists as part of the sector’s regulation process, with the aim of training a new generation of more qualified and safer drivers.Training for the private sector
During this same period, ENEVIAL has actively worked with private sector companies, offering training in defensive driving, soft skills, and cargo transportation. Among the impacted entities are: Propagas, Grupo Rica, Grupo Ramos, Industria San Miguel del Caribe, Diario Libre, CAEI, Fenatrado, Grupo READ, Grupo Ageport, Operadora Centro del Caribe, Atlantic Caribbean, among others. These trainings have allowed companies to reduce road risks, improve the response capacity of their employees, and strengthen safety in the transportation of goods.
