National Police Director participates in ITAT program graduation in Georgia

Georgia, United States.– The director general of the Dominican National Police, Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta, participated in the graduation ceremony of the International Task Force Agent Training (ITAT) program, held at the Guardian Centers of Georgia, as part of the strengthening of international police cooperation and the process of institutional modernization.

In the ceremony, 11 members of the National Police graduated, assigned to the Specialized Department of Investigation of Transnational Crimes (DEIDET), who received specialized training to reinforce the investigation and combat capabilities of transnational organized crime.

The program was developed with the support of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the United States Embassy in Santo Domingo, in coordination with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). The ceremony was attended by authorities and international representatives from the United States, Mexico, Peru, and Honduras, reaffirming the cooperative and multinational nature of this initiative in favor of regional security.
