Omar Fernández meets with the US ambassador

Santo Domingo. — The senator of the National District, Omar Fernández, informed that he received the visit of the United States ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Leah Francis Campos, with whom he held a meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations.

During the meeting, they addressed issues considered priorities for both nations, including security, investment, education, economic development, and the situation of the Dominican community residing in US territory.

Fernández highlighted that these dialogue spaces contribute to consolidating cooperation ties and allow for the promotion of initiatives aimed at the well-being of the population. He also highlighted that the Dominican Republic and the United States maintain a historical relationship based on mutual respect and common interests, which, according to him, will continue to strengthen through joint work and permanent exchange.
