San Francisco de Macorís. – In a wide-ranging preventive operation carried out in the community of Vista al Valle, members of the National Police, under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel Félix Polanco Peralta, recovered several motorcycles and objects that were left abandoned by unknown individuals upon noticing the police presence.
The deployment is part of the strategic actions implemented to combat crime and strengthen citizen security in vulnerable sectors of the municipality. During the intervention, the authorities carried out patrols, checkpoints, and searches in different areas.
According to the Police, the motorcycles and other recovered items were taken to headquarters to be checked and determine if they are linked to criminal acts or if they are listed as stolen.
Lieutenant Colonel Polanco Peralta reaffirmed his commitment to the tranquility of the population and warned that these operations will continue permanently in other sectors of San Francisco de Macorís, with the aim of preventing crimes and maintaining public order.
