Security protocol activated at AILA due to bomb threat on flight from Madrid

A flight from Madrid, Spain, which landed around 6:00 p.m. at Las Américas International Airport (AILA), activated security protocols after receiving a bomb threat.

On board were 320 passengers, and the aircraft landed without incident.

Upon arrival, teams from the Specialized Corps for Airport and Civil Aviation Security (CESAC), along with canine units, conducted a thorough inspection of the aircraft.

Operations at the airport were not affected and continue to proceed normally.
