Santo Domingo.- The
Senate of the Dominican Republic will hold an act of recognition for the artistic career of the outstanding communicator and humorist
Jochy Santos, in an event presided over by the head of the Upper Chamber,
Ricardo de los Santos Polanco.
The ceremony is scheduled for
Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the
National Congress Palace, located in the Heroes’ Center in the National District.
With this tribute, the Senate seeks to highlight Santos’ contributions to communication, entertainment, and Dominican popular culture, where he has developed an extensive career in radio and television, being considered one of the most beloved and respected figures in the media.
