Two-month-old baby dies after falling from a second level in La Caleta, La Romana

La Romana. – A baby just two months old died after falling from the second floor of a house located in the La Caleta sector, in the province of La Romana, in an event that is being investigated by the authorities as a possible homicide. According to preliminary reports, the infant suffered multiple serious injuries after the fall and was rushed to a health center, where he was later pronounced dead despite the efforts of the medical staff.

Authorities reported that the minor’s stepfather is missing and actively sought for investigation purposes, as he could provide key information about the circumstances in which the event occurred.
