San Francisco de Macorís.– A young man was murdered in broad daylight this Monday in the San Martín sector, known as Rabo de Chivo, in the municipality of San Francisco de Macorís, Duarte province, in an event that has generated consternation in the community.
The victim was identified as
Juan Alberto Tejada Rivera, who was intercepted by an armed individual on a motorcycle just as he was leaving his home.

The attack was captured by security cameras in the area, whose recordings have already been handed over to the authorities to support the investigation process. In the images, the aggressor is seen approaching and firing multiple times at Tejada Rivera.
At least 12 bullet casings were collected at the crime scene. According to neighbors, the alleged aggressor would be a man nicknamed “Pinki”, with whom the victim had personal conflicts for some time.
The body was transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) for autopsy purposes. Meanwhile, the National Police and the Public Ministry continue investigations to identify, locate, and arrest the person responsible for the act.
