The Dominican urban artist Bulín 47 was one of the special guests of Wednesday’s Playtime on Planeta Alofoke, where he held a pleasant and interesting interview with the businessman and general producer of the reality show, Santiago Matías.
During the conversation, various aspects of Bulín 47’s artistic career were addressed, including his nearly decade-long trajectory in urban music and the way he has managed to remain in popular favor. However, one of the most striking moments of the interview was a revelation related to the beginning of the project.
Both Santiago Matías and the performer confirmed that Bulín 47 was considered to be part of the first group of participants for Planeta Alofoke, a proposal he ultimately rejected.
The confession emerged when Matías expressed:
“Let’s make a confession. Let’s speak clearly. I proposed to Bulín that he be part of the first cast of Planeta Alofoke. Explain to me why it was that you didn’t join.”
When asked, Bulín explained that, despite the attractive financial offer he received from the businessman, who gave him a blank check, he decided not to accept it due to sleep-related issues.

According to what was reported, they have experienced episodes that could be associated with sleep paralysis and sleepwalking, situations that cause them concern when sharing living spaces with strangers.
“He offered me everything so that I would be here; he put a blank check in front of me, for my daughter’s health. But I told him: ‘Foke, the thing is that you’re going to be with a group of people you don’t know, and I’m a guy who has a lot of quirks when it comes to sleeping’”, the artist expressed.

Bulín added that, according to his wife’s testimonies, he has experienced various nocturnal episodes of which he does not remember details the next day, which is why he preferred not to expose himself to the reality show’s dynamic.
The performer considered that participating in a competition broadcast 24 hours a day, without filters or edits, could prove complicated due to these conditions, so he chose to stay on the sidelines of the project and continue focusing on his artistic career.
