The Mexican singer Christian Nodal lashed out at his ex-partner, the also artist Cazzu, for her reaction to the controversy generated by the song Rosita, performed by Tainy, Rauw Alejandro and JHAYCO, where they created a verse inspired by him and how quickly he “fell in love and married Ángela Aguilar.”
In an extensive message published on his broadcast channel, Christian Nodal directly questioned the stance of the Argentinian singer Cazzu, mother of his daughter Inti, and downplayed the controversy surrounding the song, assuring that the reference included in the lyrics does not constitute an attack on her as she has tried to make it appear, but rather a comparison for him as an artist usually within the urban genre.

“It takes two neurons to understand that the reference is to myself and I dare say even in a mocking tone, to my fame as a lover. It’s not an attack, it’s not a moral declaration,” wrote the interpreter of “Adiós amor”, assuring that it is “a song to twerk to in 2026, not a treatise on ethics and philosophy.”
The singer also reproached what he called “selectivity of indignation,” pointing out alleged contradictions in his ex-partner’s public stance. “She can pose perfectly in photos with whoever damaged the relationship… but a musical reference becomes treason,” he expressed, hinting in this message that tensions between them still persist even after the breakup.
One of the most sensitive points of his message was the mention of his daughter. Nodal asked Cazzu to stop involving the minor in their controversies, seeking for the issue of motherhood to reinforce the narrative he has sold. In that sense, he was emphatic, assuring that it is not fair to continue using “a topic as delicate as motherhood is sacred. She is not an argument, she is not a symbol, she is not a flag. She is my baby,” he said. Likewise, he assured that his lawyers continue to seek “a fair and regulated solution” to any situation that could affect the girl.
The artist also defended the performers of the song, making it clear that this is nothing more than a dynamic of the urban genre where references between public figures are used.
In that context, he indirectly alluded to his relationship with Ángela Aguilar, which has been under constant public scrutiny since they made their romance and subsequent marriage official. “Changing clothes, speaking differently, or changing musical genres on an album will not restructure the urban genre,” he maintained.
Finally, Nodal called to resolve the differences in private and not through the show and media circus. “Talking is how people understand each other. If something hurt out of friendship, that’s what direct conversation is for. The rest is a spectacle,” he concluded, closing with an ironic reflection: “The world is ending and we are arguing over a reggaeton bar. Priorities, people.”
