Christian Nodal surprises Pepe Aguilar by singing “Adiós amor” during his 58th birthday celebration

Mexico.- Christian Nodal starred in one of the most talked-about moments of Pepe Aguilar‘s 58th birthday, by taking the microphone and performing one of his greatest hits in front of his father-in-law during a family celebration held on Friday, August 7th.

The regional Mexican music performer sang “Adiós amor” accompanied by mariachis, while Aguilar remained seated next to his birthday cakes. Far from just listening to the performance, the honoree joined in from his seat and sang part of his son-in-law’s well-known song.

The scene was subsequently disseminated through videos and images on social media, where other moments of a celebration characterized by the presence of family, friends, and Mexican music were also recorded.

Nodal attended the celebration with his wife, Ángela Aguilar, who also had a musical participation during the gathering. The singer performed “Contigo a la distancia” in front of the guests, while her husband watched the performance from one of the tables.

Ángela also joined her brother Leonardo Aguilar to sing “Las Mañanitas” to their father. Subsequently, other family members approached the table to accompany the traditional song dedicated to the birthday boy.

Pepe Aguilar, born on August 7, 1968, celebrated his 58th birthday surrounded by part of his inner circle. The artist did not remain just a spectator and took advantage of the musicians’ presence to perform a song during the gathering.

The images of Nodal sharing time with his father-in-law drew particular attention due to the constant speculation that has publicly surrounded the singer’s relationship with the Aguilar family since his marriage to Ángela. However, the celebration showed both artists sharing in a relaxed manner and united by music, without allowing for conclusions to be drawn about private aspects of their relationship.

One of the family members whose absence was noted during the celebration was Emiliano Aguilar, Pepe’s eldest son, who has publicly acknowledged differences with some members of his family circle.

The celebration ended up becoming a sort of improvised musical performance by the Aguilar dynasty and their associates, with Ángela, Leonardo, Pepe, and Nodal taking the microphone at different moments throughout the night.

Among all the performances, the rendition of “Adiós amor” left one of the scenes that circulated the most afterwards: Nodal singing one of the songs that boosted his career while Pepe Aguilar accompanied him from his seat during his birthday.
