Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have named their first child Rose Bean Polansky, according to a birth certificate obtained by TMZ. The couple welcomed their daughter privately on June 9 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The couple had kept the birth largely private before being photographed with their newborn in Northern California. Gaga was seen carrying the baby in a wrap while walking alongside Polansky.
The name Rose is reportedly inspired by “La Vie En Rose,” the song Gaga famously performed in the 2018 film “A Star Is Born.” The baby’s middle name, Bean, is believed to be a reference to activist Carl Bean, who inspired Gaga’s song “Born This Way.”
Gaga, 40, and Polansky, 42, began dating in 2019 and announced their engagement in 2024. Both reportedly took time away from work during the summer to spend time with their new baby.
