The singer and songwriter Nacho Estrella announced this Friday on Planeta Alofoke that he is working on a new song titled “Love is in Fashion,” inspired by social concern for femicides and gender violence in the Dominican Republic. The initiative arose after a debate held last Wednesday during the “primetime” of the program, in which communicators Jessica Pereira and Lizbeth Santos participated, along with the artist Toxic Crow, the producer Charylie Alvarado and several members of the reality show.

During Friday’s broadcast of the program, content creator Carlos Montesquieu, also a participant in the reality show, expressed that Nacho felt the commitment to create a song that connected with people’s sensitivity and promoted love and respect as a response to the growing wave of femicides in the country. Later, Nacho took his guitar and performed part of the lyrics and some chords of the song, generating a positive reaction from both the audience and the reality show participants. The gesture was valued by Santiago Matías, general producer of the program, as well as by his wife Chary and the followers of the space, who highlighted the impact of a far-reaching platform like Planeta Alofoke when addressing social issues such as violence. Although many details about the official release have not yet been revealed, snippets of the song are already circulating on social media, where they have received positive comments and the support of thousands of reality show followers.
