The United States-based content creator, Pio La Ditingancia, was surprised on Monday night at Planeta Alofoke with a visit from his mother, Doña Martina, affectionately known as “Doña Malta”.
The reality show’s “primetime” was marked by nostalgia and emotion, after the also actor burst into tears upon seeing his mother. Days earlier, Pio had expressed how important she is in his life and had been very sentimental when talking about her.

The surprise occurred when the presenter Josell Hernández showed him a photograph on screen with his mother and asked him who the person in the image was. Visibly moved and in tears, Pio replied that it was his mom. Moments later, Doña Malta appeared in front of him, starring in one of the most emotional moments of this new season of the project.
During the meeting, both expressed the affection they feel for each other and highlighted how special and important they are in their lives. However, like any mother concerned about her son, Doña Malta took the opportunity to call him out for behavior she considers inappropriate.

In a firm tone, he asked him to reduce his alcohol consumption and focus on the true purpose of his participation in the reality show: to stand out, create content, and connect with a new audience. In response, Pio reacted with humor and told him: “Don’t speak ill of drinking to me”.
Although the comment provoked laughter among those present, he later acknowledged that his mother was right and assured that he is aware of what his main objective is within the Planeta Alofoke ship.
Without a doubt, this was one of the most moving moments of the show, not only for Pio, but also for his companions and the general public, who were moved to witness the emotional reunion between mother and son.
