Ronald Fenty, father of the renowned singer Rihanna, passed away at the age of 70 during the early hours of Saturday in Los Angeles, as confirmed by the broadcaster Starcom Network News, based in Barbados, the artist’s native country.
Although the official cause of his death has not yet been announced, the Barbadian media indicated that Fenty had died after suffering a short-term illness.
Family and loved ones have gathered in California to pay tribute and celebrate his life. So far, Rihanna has not issued any public statements regarding her father’s passing.
