Sony has released the final trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, offering an emotional look back at Peter Parker’s journey before the film arrives in theaters on July 31.
The trailer features scenes from the previous three Spider-Man films starring Tom Holland, highlighting the friendships and relationships Peter lost after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, when the world forgot his identity as Spider-Man.
Set several years after No Way Home, the new film follows Peter as he continues to navigate life after sacrificing his relationships with MJ, played by Zendaya, and his best friend Ned, portrayed by Jacob Batalon.
The preview also includes new footage hinting at a mysterious villain played by Sadie Sink, whose abilities may allow her to impersonate other characters. The trailer briefly features Michael Mando’s Scorpion and Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner, fueling speculation about the character’s powers and role in the story.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to open in theaters on July 31.
