Xavi earns 7 nominations for Premio Lo Nuestro 2026

Miami, FL. – XAVI, the leading voice of the new generation of Mexican music, celebrates seven nominations for Premio Lo Nuestro 2026, further consolidating his artistic growth, multi-platform impact, and global reach. Xavi is recognized in multiple genres and main categories, including Mexican Music – Male Artist of the Year, as well as Mexican Music – Album of the Year for Next. Also receives nominations for Mexican Music – Song of the Year for “Hija de Papi” with Netón Vega, and Mexican Music – Fusion of the Year for “No Capea” with Grupo Frontera. Her impact across genres is also reflected in the nominations for Afrobeat of the Year for “Bien Pedos” with Kapo, Pop – Collaboration of the Year for “La del Primer Puesto” with Reik, and Tropical – Collaboration of the Year for “En Privado” with Manuel Turizo.

His global success “En Privado” received widespread international recognition and was included among Barack Obama’s favorite songs of the year, while “No Capea” established itself as a global anthem, reaching #1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart, as well as #1 on the general and popular radio charts in Mexico. For its part, “Bien Pedos” reaffirmed Xavi’s cross-cutting reach by being recognized as one of NPR’s Latin Summer Anthems.
The 38th edition of Premio Lo Nuestro will be broadcast live on Univision on Thursday, February 19, 2026, celebrating the most influential voices in Latin music. In addition, Xavi is also nominated for the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2026 in the Regional Mexican Song of the Year category for his hit “Flores.” Likewise, he will begin the second leg of his X Tour in the United States on January 14 in San Jose, California.

ABOUT XAVI:
Xavi is the leading voice of the new generation of Mexican Music, with over 4.8 billion streams in his career. Born in Phoenix and raised between the United States and Nogales, Sonora, the singer-songwriter fuses traditional corridos with influences from R&B, pop, and urban. He achieved worldwide fame in 2024 with “La Diabla”, which reached #1 on the Spotify Global 200 and became the solo Latin song with the longest time at the top in the history of the chart.
