Miami.- A shooting left “multiple victims” in the United States during a community festival in the city of Toledo, state of Ohio, according to local police, who did not clarify the number of those affected, whether they are still alive, or the identity of the attacker.
The shooting was reported at 17:37 local time (21:37 GMT) near the Old West End Festival, a neighborhood celebration, in the area of Delaware and Glenwood avenues, where officers “discovered multiple gunshot victims,” the Toledo Police Department reported on its social media.
For now, agents “are actively searching for the suspect or suspects involved”.
“Residents and visitors are asked to avoid the area and expect a significant police presence as officers continue the search to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident,” concluded the agency’s statement, which promised additional information later.

Videos on social media show people fleeing from food stalls and sales sites, throwing themselves to the ground, and hiding behind their cars amidst the gunfire.
The United States has recorded 170 mass shootings this year, involving four or more victims not counting the attacker, according to the count by the civil organization Gun Violence Archive.
