Another earthquake strikes La Guaira, Venezuela as latest tremor reaches magnitude 4.0

A magnitude 4 earthquake struck La Guaira, Venezuela, early Tuesday, one of the areas affected by the strong earthquakes that hit the country on June 24.

The earthquake occurred at 3:07 a.m. local time, with its epicenter about 10 kilometers northwest of La Guaira and at a depth of 10 kilometers. The tremor was also felt in several areas of Caracas.

Authorities reported no immediate casualties or material damage and said emergency agencies are continuing to monitor the situation for possible aftershocks.
