Bogotá, Jun 21 (EFE).- Far-right candidate Abelardo de la Espriella remains in the lead in the preliminary vote count for this Sunday’s presidential elections in Colombia, with a 1.85 percentage point lead over leftist Iván Cepeda, with 89.58% of the polling stations counted by the National Registry.
n” “nDe la Espriella, from the Defenders of the Homeland movement, receives 11,580,989 votes, equivalent to 50.10%, while Cepeda, from the Historic Pact, the party of Colombian President Gustavo Petro, obtains 11,153,725 votes (48.25%).
