Caracas, Venezuela. The death toll from the earthquakes that affected Venezuela fifteen days ago has risen to 3,899, according to the latest official report released this Thursday by the authorities.
According to the report presented by the President of Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, the number of fatalities increased by 88 people compared to the report issued last Sunday.

The official balance also indicates that the number of injured remains at 16,740, with no variation compared to the previous update.
The authorities also reported that 17,907 people remain homeless as a result of the damage caused by the earthquakes, while 6,462 people have been rescued since the emergency occurred.
Response agencies continue humanitarian assistance, damage assessment, and support efforts for affected families, while recovery efforts advance in the areas impacted by the earthquakes.
