A 20-year-old man dressed as Spider-Man came to the rescue of a wheelchair user struggling to cross a busy six-lane road in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Christopher Hellenthal, who was still wearing his Spider-Man costume after working a superhero-themed event at a trampoline park, spotted the man in traffic and rushed over, telling him, “I got you.”

Hellenthal quickly pushed the wheelchair user across the crosswalk to safety just moments before the traffic light turned green. The rescue was captured by a street security camera and later shared by the Jonesboro Police Department, which thanked him for his quick actions.

Speaking to The Associated Press, Hellenthal said adrenaline took over as he realized he had to act fast in the heavy midday traffic. After reaching the other side safely, he hurried back to his Jeep before vehicles began moving again.
