Frankfurt Airport cancels 85 flights due to the snowstorm in Germany

Frankfurt (Germany).- Frankfurt Airport is going to cancel 85 of the 1,040 flights scheduled for this Monday due to the snowstorm, a spokeswoman for Fraport, the company that manages the airfield, told EFE.

“These cancellations are largely due to weather conditions,” added the Fraport spokesperson. The winter maintenance service to remove snow and ice from runways, taxiways, and platforms, as well as to de-ice aircraft, is in operation at Frankfurt Airport.
