Moments of tension were reported in the waters of La Paz, Baja California Sur, after a young girl was found completely alone on a paddleboard more than a kilometer from the coast, near the Punta Arena area.
According to the information available, fishermen who were navigating through the area noticed the girl and realized that she was alone on the water. They immediately approached her to provide assistance and managed to bring her safely to shore.
The incident occurred in waters off La Paz, where the distance from the coastline made the situation particularly concerning. The girl was found aboard the paddleboard without anyone accompanying her, prompting the fishermen to intervene and prevent the situation from becoming more dangerous.
After the rescue, security personnel reportedly arrived in the area to verify what had happened and assess the circumstances surrounding the girl’s presence so far from the coast.
The incident highlights the potential risks faced by minors and other people engaging in water activities when they become separated from those accompanying them or drift away from the shoreline.
