Iran calls for the evacuation of Tel Aviv amid new attacks

Tehran.- Iran warned residents of Tel Aviv on Monday to immediately evacuate parts of the city with military infrastructure in the event of further attacks, according to Press TV. Iranian authorities called for the evacuation of areas of the Israeli city near military infrastructure. The Iranian army also warned on Sunday night before launching the latest attacks that have left eight people dead in Haifa (north) and the surrounding areas of Tel Aviv.

Search and rescue teams recovered the bodies of three people in Haifa on Monday morning, who were missing after the Iranian attacks that occurred several hours earlier. Shortly before, police officers found the lifeless body of an elderly man in Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv, in the building adjacent to one hit by a missile. Emergency services had already confirmed last night the death of two men and two women, initially all around 70 years old, after impacts on at least one building of about 20 floors in Petah Tikva, a city about 10 kilometers east of Tel Aviv. Since the early hours of Thursday, Israel has been carrying out a massive bombing campaign against different points in Iran, which has already caused 224 deaths and more than a thousand injuries, according to Iranian authorities. The government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu justified the start of this offensive by stating that its intelligence had evidence that the Iranian regime was advancing in the plan to develop a nuclear bomb. On the Israeli side, the Iranian attacks launched in the last three days as a response have killed at least 24 people, according to data provided this morning by the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office. At least eight of them have died this past morning due to the impact of ballistic missiles on two buildings in the center and north of the country, reported the Israeli emergency service.
