The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, condemned the unilateral attack by the US and Israel against the Islamic Republic and issued a stern warning to both countries. “We will make the Zionist criminals and the American scoundrels regret their actions,” he wrote on his X account. “The brave soldiers and the great nation of Iran will give an unforgettable lesson to the oppressive international power,” added the senior official. Larijani stressed the determination of the Armed Forces and the people of Iran to respond forcefully to the attacks perpetrated this Saturday by the U.S. and Israel, which have bombed cities causing civilian casualties, in what Tehran has called a flagrant violation of international law and an unjustified escalation of war.
