Miami Beach mother arrested after allegedly leaving four children home alone for cruise
A Miami Beach mother was arrested after authorities said she left her four children, including a 2-month-old infant, home alone while she went on a Carnival cruise.
Nathalie Belizaire, 29, faces four counts of child neglect. According to the arrest report, the father of her 2-month-old daughter became suspicious after seeing photos Belizaire posted on social media showing a cruise ticket.
The man went to the apartment and heard the children inside. He then contacted police and reported that his daughter was inside the residence without adult supervision.
When officers arrived, they found all four children hiding together in a bathroom. No adult was present in the apartment, according to the report.
