The student was detained by the Police
Prague.- A student killed a teacher this Tuesday by stabbing her with a knife and injured two other people, one of them seriously, at a school in northern Slovakia, reported the TA3 network.
The alleged perpetrator of the crime, an 8th-grade student (13-14 years old), was detained by the Police, who stated they had the situation under control.
The incident took place at a public elementary school in the town of Staskov, which has a population of about 3,000 inhabitants.

The alleged attacker seriously injured a classmate and also wounded a 44-year-old teacher, who suffered damage to her sternum and is currently stabilized and out of danger. Both patients are hospitalized.

The teenager lives with his grandmother, who, apparently, had forbidden him from serving as an altar boy due to his poor academic performance.
Local media estimate that this could have been the trigger for the minor’s emotional crisis.
This is the eleventh incident involving bladed weapons or firearms in Slovak schools since 2005, in which five people have died.
