A video that went viral on social media shows two men removing a coffin from a vehicle and leaving it beside the wall surrounding Uruapan Airport in Michoacán, Mexico, before driving away.
According to Mexican newspaper La Jornada, authorities initially believed the coffin could contain explosives and inspected it.
Instead, they found the body of a man believed to be around 35 years old. The discovery prompted a judicial investigation into the man’s identity and the circumstances surrounding his death and the abandonment of the coffin.
