A Delta Air Lines pilot has drawn praise on social media after stepping in to help load passengers’ luggage into the cargo compartment of an aircraft following a lengthy delay at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
According to witnesses, the flight had been delayed for more than two hours because only one baggage handler was available to load the aircraft. Seeing the situation, the pilot joined the ground operation and helped load passengers’ bags while the airline worked to find additional personnel.
