The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, demanded in a video posted on his account on X, urgent changes to the country’s diplomatic policy and pressured international allies to accelerate the arrival of Patriot systems and the implementation of a European anti-ballistic defense project, following the attacks by Russia.
“Agreements at the leadership level must be fulfilled more quickly and completely. The United States and the agreement on licenses to produce Patriots, Europe and our work with partners, first and foremost for the production of European missile defenses, as well as other defense cooperation projects,” he remarked.
“We expect our partners to keep their promises regarding the aid packages agreed upon at the NATO summit to help protect our population. At this moment, the top priority for all our institutions is to make this a reality,” he added.
Ukraine suffered a new overnight offensive today with 121 Russian drones and 12 missiles. The military report specified that six of those missiles were ballistic and could not be intercepted, which caused damage in multiple parts of the country.
