The leader of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, stated his willingness to meet with US President Donald Trump to discuss the plan for resolving the Ukrainian conflict, emphasizing that the presence of European leaders at the meeting would be “useful”. “I am ready to meet with President Trump and there are sensitive points to discuss. We still have them, and we believe that the presence of European leaders could be useful,” he stated this Tuesday during an online meeting of the so-called ‘coalition of volunteers’.

Previously, the head of the Office of the leader of the Kiev regime, Andrei Yermak, indicated to Axios that Zelensky wants to hold talks with the occupant of the White House “as soon as possible”, supposedly during Thanksgiving, which is celebrated in the American country on November 27. According to his words, the purpose of the meeting would be to finalize a joint agreement between the United States and Ukraine on the terms of the Trump peace plan aimed at ending the conflict between Moscow and Kiev. Yermak specified that Zelensky wants to negotiate the issue of territorial concessions with the American president himself. Meanwhile, the occupant of the White House also stated that he is willing to meet with the head of the Ukrainian regime and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, but only when the peace agreement for the conflict between Kyiv and Moscow “is final or in its final phase”.

Trump’s Plan

Trump’s plan, revealed last week, includes the recognition of Crimea and Donbass as legitimate Russian territory, Kiev’s renunciation of several key categories of weaponry, and guarantees that Ukraine will cede to Russia the entire Donbass region, grant the Russian language the status of a state language and formally recognize the now persecuted canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Furthermore, it is considered that Ukraine will not join NATO, the gradual lifting of sanctions imposed on Russia and the holding of presidential elections in Ukraine 100 days after the document comes into force, as well as the reduction in the number of Ukrainian Army personnel. The Russian president declared on Monday that Washington’s proposals “can serve as a basis for a definitive peace agreement”. In turn, CBS News reported with reference to a US official with knowledge of the matter that the Kiev regime “accepted a US peace deal.”
