SANTIAGO.- The Águilas Cibaeñas announced this Tuesday the release of 15 players as part of a restructuring process of their roster ahead of the next season of the Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM).

The Aguilas organization officially announced that the players were released and thanked each one for the professionalism, commitment, and dedication shown during the period they defended the team’s jersey.
Licensed players are distributed in different positions:

Pitchers: Delvis Alegre, Wilker Reyes, Carlos Espinal, Robert Corniel, Edwin Núñez, Geison Urbáez, Benjamín Arias, Ramón Rosso, and Yenfri Sosa.
Outfielders: Aneury Tavárez, Bladimir Restituyo and Derik Alcántara.
Infielders: Juan Benjamín and Joseph Rosa.
Recipient: Sergio Tapia.
The Águilas Cibaeñas Baseball Operations management explained that the decision is part of the moves intended to create space within the roster and allow for the incorporation of new talent.
With these changes, the Cibao team prepares to strengthen its structure through the upcoming LIDOM Rookie Draft, in addition to future signings that will contribute to shaping the roster for the next campaign.
The Águilas Cibaeñas reiterated their gratitude to the 15 players for their services rendered to the organization and wished them the greatest success in the next stages of their respective professional careers.
