Colegio Sabiduría y Baluarte officially presented this Thursday its new identity as
Octavio Dotel International School, in honor of former Major League player
Octavio Dotel, who passed away last April during the tragedy that occurred at the Jet Set nightclub.

The presentation ceremony was attended by his wife,
Massiel Javier de Dotel, and his children, who participated in the emotional moment of unveiling the new name of the institution.

Today we begin a new chapter in our history. With deep pride, we officially present our new name: Octavio Dotel International School.
This change is not just a new identity; it is the affirmation of a legacy that inspires and transcends generations. Mr. Octavio Dotel dedicated his life to opening paths for children and youth, convinced that education is the key that transforms lives and societies. His vision, commitment, and passion for serving continue to be the guide that directs every step we take.
Under this new name, we renew our commitment to educate students with academic excellence, strong values, and an international outlook, always honoring the memory of the one who taught us that dreams are achieved with discipline, faith, and perseverance.
