In the gardens, Julio Rodríguez, Oneil Cruz, and Fernando Tatis Jr. have been confirmed, while the infield includes Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Carlos Santana, catcher Yainer Díaz, and utility player Amed Rosario, forming a balanced team between offensive power, defense, and depth. The 2026 edition of the World Baseball Classic will be held from March 5 to 17, and the Dominican Republic will be part of Group D, based at loanDepot park in Miami, along with the teams of Venezuela, Nicaragua, Netherlands and Israel. The Dominican team will seek its second world title, after the historic undefeated conquest achieved in the 2013 edition. The Quisqueyan team will debut on March 6 against Nicaragua, at 7:00 PM (Eastern Time), beginning their journey in search of a new international crown.
