SANTO DOMINGO. The Tigres del Licey announced their starting rotation for the weekend games in the continuation of the 2025-26 autumn-winter championship.

This Friday, native right-hander Albert Abreu (0-4) is scheduled to make his opening start when Licey visits the Leones del Escogido starting at 7:15 PM. It will be his seventh appearance of the season. He is the leader of the Tigres’ pitching staff in innings pitched (27.1) and second in strikeouts (17).
Adonis Medina (1-1, 2.25) will be the starter against the Gigantes del Cibao in Saturday’s challenge on the road (5:00 p.m., Julián Javier stadium, San Francisco de Macorís). It will be his second start of the season. In nine games he has accumulated 16 innings, has given up four earned runs with four walks and 14 strikeouts. The opposition is batting .250 against him.
Right-handed Radhamés Liz (0-2, 1.76) will take the mound on Sunday, when the Tigres receive the visit of the Escogido starting at 5:00 in the afternoon at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal stadium. It will be the veteran pitcher’s fifth start this season, in which the opposition is batting him for just .211 and ties for second place on the team with 17 strikeouts in 15.1 innings.
