The agreement, which has not yet been officially confirmed by the organization, represents the largest economic guarantee in the history of the franchise. In addition, it includes a club option for an eighth year and various incentives that could raise the total value of the contract to 131 million dollars. Soderstrom, 24, is coming off a standout campaign in 2025, in which he recorded a .276 average, with 25 home runs and 93 RBIs in 158 games.
