El Millón hits hard on Huellas and gets its first victory

SANTO DOMINGO,..- El Millón club decisively defeated Huellas del Siglo to secure their first victory, with a score of 108-81, against Huellas del Siglo, in the opening match of this Friday’s game in the 49 TBS Distrito 2025.

El Yireh’s team had a superb offensive performance with three players scoring over 20 points, led by the York-Dominican Andrés Fulgencio, who had 29 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Fulgencio put on a show from the three-point arc, where he shot 7-11, going 2-6 in the first half and was perfect 5-5 in the second. American reinforcement Michael Watkins achieved a double-double of 27 points plus 12 rebounds, and the Colombian-Dominican Jesse Zarzuela contributed 22 digits with four assists, and Enmanuel Martinez 11 and seven rebounds. By Huellas, the imported Emmanuel Egbuta stood out with 19 points and seven rebounds, and Jalen Nesmith 14, Miguel Brito and Miguel Miranda 12 each and Darwin Cabrera scored 11. The millionaires lost the first period 32-31 and in the second the uprising began as they dominated 27-13 and took the first half 48-45.

The TBS District 2025 resumes action this Sunday with a double header on the fourth date of the intergroup matches, and tenth overall of the regular season of the total of 20 rounds. At 4:00 PM, the teams of Los Prados will play against San Lázaro, and at 6:00 PM, Mauricio Báez and Rafael Barias will face each other.
