Palma (EFE). – FC Barcelona began the defense of its
LaLiga EA Sports title with a comfortable victory (0-3) over Mallorca, in a match marked by the superiority of the Blaugrana, the refereeing controversy and the two expulsions of the Bermellón team.

Lamine Yamal sealed the first league victory for those led by
Hansi Flick, who maintained the intensity shown in the preseason.
The Barça opened the scoring early thanks to a precise cross from Lamine that left Raphinha alone to head in unchallenged. Although Mallorca reacted and had clear chances at the feet of
Vedat Muriqi, the debutant goalkeeper
Joan García responded with confidence.
The controversy arrived in the 20th minute, when a shot from Lamine hit Raíllo in the head, who was left lying in the area. Referee
José Luis Munuera let the action continue and, in the same play, Ferran Torres scored 0-2 from outside the area. The local indignation resulted in protests and the first yellow card for Morlanes, who shortly after would see the second and be sent off.
