According to court information, these new charges correspond to a complaint filed in August by a different alleged victim. With this, the total number of charges rises to seven counts of rape related to three women, in addition to an additional charge of sexual assault involving a fourth complainant. The player had already pleaded not guilty to the first charges during an appearance held in September in the British capital, after which he was released on bail while the legal process advances. Partey is scheduled to reappear before a London court on March 13th to answer for the new charges. It should be remembered that the footballer arrived at Villarreal as a free agent, after ending his contract with Arsenal FC, in a context in which the accusations were already public knowledge.
