Digega lays a floral offering in commemoration of the 182nd anniversary of National Independence

Santo Domingo. – The General Directorate of Livestock, headed by its director, Abel Madera, made a solemn floral offering at the Altar de la Patria, as part of the commemorative acts of the 182nd anniversary of the National Independence. The ceremony was held in honor of the Founding Fathers: Juan Pablo Duarte, Francisco del Rosario Sánchez, and Ramón Matías Mella, whose ideals of liberty, sovereignty, and justice continue to be a guide for present and future generations.

During the event, director Abel Madera highlighted the importance of keeping patriotic values alive and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to the development of the national agricultural sector, as an essential part of the country’s growth and food security. “This floral offering is not just a symbolic gesture, it is a reaffirmation of our commitment to the values that gave rise to the Dominican Republic,” Madera expressed. Likewise, he said that, “Independence is a legacy that commits us to work with responsibility, dedication, and love for our nation.” With this floral offering, the General Directorate of Livestock honors the memory of the national heroes and ratifies its commitment to institutional strengthening and the progress of the Dominican Republic.
