Santo Domingo. – Given the rise and challenge posed by the mental health problem in the Dominican Republic, which has become a priority issue not only for public policy makers, but for all sectors that in one way or another influence the country’s decision-making, the women’s empowerment community ‘Madres Todo Terreno’ will hold the event called ‘Mental Health in Today’s Woman’ next Saturday, October 11. The announcement was made by lawyer Keidy Peña, the project’s promoter, who stated that the initiative seeks to contribute to addressing this problem that is gaining strength in the country every day, so on this occasion, talks, workshops, and recreational activities will be given that will allow those present to create the tools on how to achieve their purpose in a world where women have to break barriers every day to achieve their goals, she also said that all those interested can follow the details through @madrestodoterrenord. ”Our community is made up of psychologists, human behavior specialists, counselors, and professionals with extensive experience. The idea is that during this day trip, which we will hold in a villa in Juan Dolio, with transportation, breakfast, lunch, and snacks included, entrepreneurial mothers and those who are not can live a unique experience and bring out that inner child we carry within; do what we always wanted, but never dared to do out of fear and other limitations, but that now we will be able to achieve with desire, dedication and, above all, purpose”, assured Keidy Peña, promoter of the project ”Madres Todo Terreno”. She affirmed that today more than ever, that sisterhood among entrepreneurial women, especially mothers, is necessary, who in most cases limit themselves to taking the step in search of their dreams, first because of the fear of failing and, second, because of the lack of a helping hand that marks the path to follow. She indicated that this is precisely what is sought with this initiative: to empower women so they can balance their lives with the plans they have in the pipeline.

”In all the analyses we have carried out, the results are the same: mothers who want to start interesting projects, but do not dare because they see the birth of their children as an unusual responsibility to realize their dreams, when it should be the opposite; it is to see it as an opportunity for the definitive takeoff,” said Peña. He specified that since the birth of the project, the receptivity of women to listen to his presentations and approaches has been positive, which means that it is possible to fight in search of achieving the path and achieving dreams.
